Semi Automatic Optical Fibre Connectorisation Plant and New Circle Website of TF Kolkata Circle was Innaugurated by Sri S. M . Talwar, ED(NB), C.O, New Delhi on 25th Feb 2011.
Telecom Factory, Alipore has been accredited fresh Certification Licence as per ISO 9001:2008 Quality Management Systems by M/s Bureau of Indian Standards, Govt. Of India.

Sri S.K. Satayarthi, GMTF, Alipore, hoisted National Flag at TF Complex on Independence day 2010. TFCOWC welcome him for his first visit as GM. TFCOWC had also expressed that they have great expectation from him for development of TF Complex. He had distributed prizes for sit and draw competition.

On 9th July 2010,health check up for stress free and healthier working at Circle Office was organised together with DESUN Hospital, Kolkata . CGMTFs & all Officials participated in the programme.
Sri S. M. Talwar, ED(NB), Corporate Office,New Delhi made a visit to TF, Kharagpur on 3rd July 2010. He went round the Factory and reviewed production and development activities. Sri Talwar planted saplings inside the Factory.
On 30th June 2010, TF Kharagpur organised a medical camp together with DESUN Hospital, Kolkata. About 80 staff & officers participated in the programme.

* Ashoka Plants have been planted inside the Factory by CGM,TFs, Senior Officers and Union Members at TF, Alipore.
* 50 Mehogini plants have been planted inside the Factory complex by the executives and non executives at Telecom Factory, Kharagpur.

6th Circle Co-ordination Meeting with Civil, Electrical & Architectural wings was held at TF Alipore on 20.03.2010. On this occasion, status of various civil works ongoing as well as new works was reviewed with Chief Engineer (Civil), Chief Engineer (Electrical) & Chief Architect.
On the occasion of 99th International Women’s Day on 8 th March, 2010, all women employees were honoured in a brief programme held at Circle office.
